We're Hiring: Buyer (Hybrid Role)

Our client is a Dutch multinational with 96 years of history, specialized in designing, manufacturing, and maintaining heavy construction equipment for leading global companies in the renewable energy, oil & gas, civil engineering, shipbuilding, and entertainment industries.

Their product range includes cranes, offshore wind tools, drilling and piping equipment, and custom-built solutions. Now, they’re looking for a passionate and experienced Buyer to join their team in a hybrid work model.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Negotiate the best prices, quality, and lead times for critical goods and services
• Develop commodity strategies alongside the Category Manager
• Identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and process improvement
• Build and maintain transparent, strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Fluent or advanced English (will be tested during the selection process)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering, or Business Administration
• Previous experience in technical purchasing (equipment, parts, services), national/international logistics, and inventory management
• Knowledge in the metal-mechanical, shipbuilding, O&G, or heavy equipment manufacturing sectors is a plus
